Clinical Administrator

Accountable to: Practice Partnership

Hours: TBC

Pay: £12.71 per hour

As a Clinical Administrator, you will provide essential support to our multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure clinical information is processed accurately, safely and efficiently.

You will manage a wide range of clinical correspondence, including hospital letters, reports, results and electronic information, ensuring relevant information is accurately coded and added to patient records. You will use your judgement to identify information that can be safely processed and filed, while recognising more complex or sensitive matters that require clinical review.

The role also includes supporting patient registrations, record summarising, recalls and screening programmes, QOF, audits and enhanced services, as well as processing medical and insurance reports and monitoring practice correspondence.

You will work closely with colleagues across the practice, contributing to effective workflows and supporting the wider administrative team when required. You may also assist with training new staff and provide cover for specialist administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be organised, accurate and able to prioritise a varied workload. You will need to maintain strict confidentiality, follow practice procedures and information governance requirements, and have the confidence to seek advice when something falls outside your responsibilities.
