VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Location:

Plymouth
Basic Salary:
Up to £34,000 Depending on Experience
OTE: £40,000

Hours:

42.5 Hours per Week
- Monday
- Friday & Saturday Mornings on a Rota
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

· Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

· Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work

· Carrying out repairs efficiently to achieve first-time fixes

· Following manufacturer and Health & Safety procedures

· Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a safe working environment

· Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture

· Communicating with customers where required to assist with technical explanations

· Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care

About You

· NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

· Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician

· Strong technical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills

· Own tools and toolbox

· Full UK Manual Driving Licence

· MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
