Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the UK’s largest comprehensive automotive accident repairers, for a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join their team in Gloucester. The Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will play a vital role in delivering accurate vehicle estimates, ensuring efficient repairs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards. Prepare manual and computerised vehicle estimates, ensuring conformity with insurer and customer requirements Ensure all estimates are accurately documented and follow up on unauthorised work, securing proper approval before commencement Liaise with bodyshop personnel to communicate repair estimates and ensure understanding of scope of work If a vehicle is deemed a total loss, notify relevant parties and coordinate appropriate actions Maintain accurate records of all estimates and work undertaken Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the working environment Work efficiently to generate profitable and customer-focused repair solutions Ensure high standards of customer care and satisfaction throughout the repair process Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator Audatex trained/qualified Strong knowledge of vehicle estimating techniques
