Overview
Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.
Role Responsibilities- Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Completing fast‑fit tyre fitting whilst using an alignment machine and understanding the readings and relevant adjustments.
- Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
- Carrying out MOT repairs.
- Adhering to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
- Using relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and of highest quality.
- Advising on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offering timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
- Working in a safe manner and always complying with health & safety regulations.
- Full current UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).
- Level 3 Automotive Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the automotive industry).
- Experience with mechanical and fast‑fit repairs, which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
- The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
