Remote (with regular UK & international travel)

A brilliant opportunity to join a growing, independent Event Specialist Health & Safety Consultancy supporting an exciting client base across sport, music, tech and entertainment
.

From world-class concerts and large-scale live productions to international sporting events, no two projects are the same. You’ll play a key role in ensuring events are delivered safely, compliantly and seamlessly.

The Role

As an Event Health & Safety Consultant
, you’ll provide expert advice and hands‑on support to clients across a wide variety of live events and productions.

This is a highly varied role, combining consultancy, training, documentation and on‑site event support. The position offers the opportunity to travel across the UK and internationally, supporting event build phases and live show delivery.

Fire Risk Assessing experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal health & safety responsibilities and help implement effective safety management systems
  • Conduct audits and evaluations of health & safety processes and procedures
  • Deliver software demonstrations to clients, both virtually and in person
  • Develop and deliver tailored health & safety training sessions
  • Write and audit key event safety documentation including Event Management Plans, RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
  • Carry out contractor competency assessments
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety and crowd management
  • Act as an on‑site Health & Safety advisor during live projects
About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the events industry
    , ideally in a health & safety-focused role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or NCRQ equivalent)
  • Technical Member of IOSH (or willingness to work towards this)
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and keen to continue developing
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Happy and able to travel across the UK and internationally
  • Strong IT skills, ideally including Google Workspace
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent)
  • Grad IOSH / working towards CMIOSH
  • Additional Health & Safety qualifications
