We are seeking motivated and passionate Recycling Officers, ready to hit the ground running, to join our Food Waste Collection Project. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile, time-critical service that must be successfully implemented by the end of 2026, with the potential to lead to a permanent position. As a Recycling Officer, you will be the public face of the service, working directly with residents to support the rollout and drive participation.

We are looking for self-starters who are proactive, highly motivated, and results-focused, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills and a passion for environmental issues and behaviour change. While the role is primarily field-based, there is a small office-based element, including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside general project support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the community while contributing to a major environmental initiative.
