Junior HubSpot Consultant
Salary: circa £25,000 - £30,000 FTE, plus benefits, plus (from end of Y2 onwards) profit share (and employee ownership scheme).
Working hours:
full time or part-time for the right candidate. Flexible working hours.
Location:
must be UK-based, preferably (but not crucially) North West-based, primarily remote, one day per month minimum at a flexible working office space in North West England, option to consider flexible working office space close to you.
Experience level: would suit someone who is just above entry level; some experience or qualification in business, business process or operations would be a plus; successful applicant must have some very basic experience of Hub Spot; at the very least knowing what Hub Spot is and how it can be deployed in a business.
This is a role for someone who’s willing to get stuck in, roll up their sleeves, embrace a level of change and chaos and ultimately fight for a business they will one day own a piece of.
You are embarking on a career path that will likely see you as a Hub Spot Consultant as your next step, followed by Senior Hub Spot Consultant and then… who knows! The (Hub Spot) world is your lobster. You’ll eventually be responsible for owning and developing your own client bank and making Hub Spot work for those clients in the best possible way.
But, in the meantime, whilst you learn your craft…
You’ll be asked to mix in with everything; from our own marketing, to practical delivery for clients on Hub Spot, to growing your own knowledge, through to anything else that might come up along the way as the business grows. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor!
What your day could look like;
Priority setting across the business - you’ll have a complete view of all activity and can help to shape what needs to happen next.
Pipeline review - you’ll be able to see what new clients we have coming in and help to land them as customers.
Call with a key client shadowing a Senior Hub Spot consultant - learn how we do what we do as you work towards the next stage in your career.
Practical delivery on Hub Spot for clients - complete junior-level Hub Spot tasks on behalf of the consultants to help keep projects moving forwards. This is your main day-to-day responsibility.
Forward planning and operations - capacity plan for the future, manage incoming pipeline of work, carry out basic ‘chase’ sales tasks.
In-person networking and social media - Hub Spot is everywhere so the more places we can be, the more people with Hub Spot we can help. You’ll be asked to build your network and leverage it for opportunities in the future.
Account development - looking at our active accounts you’ll be asked to generate account plans that help existing customers to do even more with their Hub Spot, then you’ll need to develop pitches to those customers that highlight the benefit of working with us further.
Personal development - there will be plenty of time to learn more about Hub Spot and more about business. We’re keen to help you on your road to success and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop personally in a wide range of environments, including areas you want to focus on.
About you
In assessing candidates for this role, we’ll be looking for the following attributes.
Independent, motivated and driven - we’ll ask you to explain how you’ve made a success out of something in the past, possibly with limited guidance. You’ll be excited by the prospect of one day potentially owning some of the company and helping to shape what it does. You’ll take pride in the company delivering the very best outcomes for clients as a route to growth.
Knowledge of Hub Spot - this can be basic, but there’s also time to do your research! We’ll be asking about what you know and what you…
