Assistant Site Manager
Plymouth
Contract till September
Are you an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking to join a respected contractor?
We're working with a contractor who is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of high-quality property upgrades.
As Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
You'll support the Site Manager in coordinating subcontractors, managing site activities and maintaining health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the programmes
- Coordinate subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme targets
- Promote and maintain excellent health and safety standards
- Assist with inspections
- Maintain regular communication with the Construction Manager
- Support cost control and budget management
- Step up and lead the site when required
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience within the social housing or construction industry
- Experience managing subcontractors and site programmes
- Proven ability to support projects
