Lindum Group is a family run business operating as a successful construction company since **. We provide a range of construction services from new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects to construction-related services such as plant hire, security, roofing and waste recycling. We currently have over 630 direct employees on our sites, in our workshops and company offices in Lincoln, Peterborough and York.

Our Lindum BMS (Building Maintenance Services) division specialises in new build and refurbishment construction projects up to £2m, as well as planned and reactive minor works and maintenance jobs in the Lincoln area and surrounding regions.

An opportunity has arisen for a Bricklaying Working Foreman to join our busy minor works team based in North Hykeham, responsible for directly supervising minor construction projects such as small extensions and internal and external refurbishment works in various sectors to include Education, Retail, Commercial and Residential Requirements.

• Directly supervise minor construction projects such as small extensions and internal and external refurbishment works in various sectors including Education, Retail, Commercial and Residential Requirements.
• Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry units to specification, construct walls, partitions, foundations and decorative brickwork, and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.
• Manage a site team and on-site labour, manage workload, organise and coordinate works according to a programme and construction drawings.
• Work to the Group’s quality and safety standards.
• Maintain direct contact with clients, instruct and motivate site teams, ensuring the right attitude and people skills.

• Experience in bricklaying, including laying bricks, blocks and other masonry units to specification and constructing walls, partitions, foundations and decorative brickwork.
• Experience in other trades is an advantage.
• Ability to manage a site team and on-site labour.
• Ability to manage workload, organise and coordinate works according to a programme and construction drawings.
• Ability to work to the Group’s quality and safety standards.
• Current SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and other in‑date safety training would be an advantage.
• Full driving licence.
• People skills and right attitude to work with clients and motivate site teams.

Position is full‑time (45 hours per week). Hours of work are 7:30am to 5:00pm. Occasional overtime may also be required.
