Job Title: Assistant Package Manager

Help deliver critical infrastructure that supports the UK’s defence capability. As an Assistant Package Manager at the Devonport Royal Dockyard site, you will support the delivery of complex construction and infrastructure packages across a major programme environment, contributing to every stage of the project lifecycle from design development through to construction and project close‑out.

• Supporting the delivery of infrastructure and construction packages across design, procurement and build phases
• Coordinating activities between engineering, commercial and supply chain teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitoring project performance, including progress, cost and quality metrics
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and alignment
• Contributing to safe, compliant delivery in line with project and regulatory requirements

• Experience working within construction or infrastructure project environments
• Understanding of engineering design and construction processes
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and temporary works
• Familiarity with procurement processes and contract administration
• Experience working in regulated or safety‑critical environments

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• CSCS card
• Project management qualification (e.g., APM or equivalent) – desirable

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
