CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor - £21.50 per Hour (PAYE) - River Plym Bridge Project (Plymouth)

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor to join the River Plym Bridge refurbishment project in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on Network Rail's multi-million-pound refurbishment of the historic 1868 River Plym Bridge, a major railway infrastructure project that will help preserve and enhance one of the region's key rail crossings.

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site in accordance with the lifting plan
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current legislation
• Brief and direct crane operators, slinger/signallers, and lifting teams
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure safe systems of work are followed at all times
• Liaise with Appointed Persons, Site Management, and other trades to coordinate lifting activities
• Ensure lifting equipment is suitable, certified, and inspected before use
• Maintain exclusion zones and manage lifting operations in challenging site conditions
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities
• Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Report any incidents, defects, or unsafe practices immediately

• Valid CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor card (essential)
• Previous experience supervising lifting operations on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane operations, and lifting regulations
• Safety Critical Medical (required or willingness to complete)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working alongside Tier 1 contractors or on Network Rail projects is advantageous
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach

• £21.50 per hour (PAYE)
• Weekly pay - reliable and on time
