The Senior Planner position in Plymouth offers a chance to join a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor on a major, long-term infrastructure programme.

This full-time role commands a salary between £70,000 and £78,000, supplemented by a car allowance and further benefits.

Your primary duty involves developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes, monitoring site progress, and identifying potential delays.

You will collaborate closely with project, engineering, and commercial teams, supporting programme reviews and forecasting.

The role also entails developing sequencing methodologies and flagging programme risks.

• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes
• Working closely with project, engineering and commercial teams

• Identifying programme risks and opportunities
• Providing planning support throughout project delivery

• Previous planning experience within civil engineering / major infrastructure
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Experience using relevant planning software such as Primavera P6 /Asta Tier 1 / major contractor experience would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with operational teams

Up to £78,000 basic salary + excellent benefits package

Due to the nature of the project and site, the successful candidate will be required to meet the necessary security clearance and vetting requirements and will be required to work on site.
