t NG Bailey are currently searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team to work on on various projects across our SW regio
n.Responsibilit- ies Ensure that our safety first and foremost message is visible and alive through all activities on the proj
- ect.
Ensure the use of, and compliance to, legal and company policies and processes in line with contractual obligati - ons.
Understand project contract terms, manage risks and opportunities, ensuring they are commercially mitigated or enhanced. Identify any changes in line with NG Bailey’s contractual obligati - ons.
Maintain all records in order to maximise contractual entitleme - nts.
Communicate with the operational teams on risk and contract terms and conditions and have a continual understanding of project sta - tus.
Prepare, submit applications, and secure recovery of payment, with substantiation of compensation or variati - ns.
With support, manage sub-contract accounts through to final account settlem - ent.
Monitor and control progress with the operational team, providing accurate internal report - ing.
Ensure availability of all project reports, applications, certificates, payments, timeliness and quality of delivery, and tender allowan - ces.
With support, negotiate to settle the project account with the cli
Require
- ments Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with an M&E backg
- round.
A degree/HNC level qualification and/or significant exper - ience.
Experience of change and subcontract mana - gementA good understanding of NEC3/4 contracts & JCT (desi
