A well-established façade contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee façade remediation and re-cladding projects across the Plymouth area.
The business operates nationwide with a turnover of circa £30m and works with a range of major house builders and developers. With a strong order book for the next two years and an in-house design capability, they have a growing pipeline of remediation work across the South West.
The RoleActing as Principal Contractor, you will take full responsibility for projects typically valued between £1m–£5m, involving the removal of existing cladding systems, installation of new fire barriers and reinstatement of compliant façade systems on occupied buildings.
Responsibilities will include:
- Full project and programme management
- Labour and subcontractor management
- Client liaison and progress meetings
- Overseeing QA and project documentation
- Health & safety management
- Coordinating with the in-house design and commercial teams
- Managing works within occupied residential environments
Driving projects through to completion and handover
You will need strong programming and organisational skills, a good understanding of fire barriers and façade systems, and the ability to confidently manage clients, labour, health & safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
