Every year, countless girls and women are released from academies, colleges, and clubs, often with no clear path forward.
PLYAZ is changing that. We’re building a player-first community platform where female footballers can share their story, gain support from fans, scouts, and clubs, and keep their dream alive on and off the pitch.
The Role:Women’s Football Player Ambassador
We’re looking for authentic voices in the women’s game: released academy/RTC players, semi-pros, pros, or player-turned-coaches who want to use their journey to inspire and connect.
You’ll be the bridge between female players, fans, and clubs, showing that release or setback isn’t the end; it can be the start of a new chapter.
What You’ll Do- Share your journey:
Inspire others with your story – the highs, lows, and lessons learned in women’s football. - Build community:
Connect with released and transitioning female players, coaches, and player-care staff. - Drive awareness:
Use your social presence (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, X, etc.) to grow the PLYAZ movement in the women’s game. - Host & engage:
Take part in Q&As, interviews, lives, and conversations about life during and after academy/club football for women. - Feedback & insight:
Help us test new platform features and share real insights from the women’s game so the product truly serves female players.
- A current or former girls’/women’s player (academy, college, semi-pro, or pro) or player-turned-coach, based in the UK.
- Comfortable sharing your story publicly and engaging on social media.
- Connected within women’s football circles – teammates, coaches, player-care staff, scouts, or clubs.
- Passionate about helping other female players stay in the game, find purpose, and feel less alone in their journey.
- Equity ownership as a founding ambassador in the women’s game.
- Salary opportunity once funding is secured.
- Direct access to the founders, partners, and early investors.
- Recognition:
Media features, ambassador badge, and social/platform spotlight. - Priority consideration for future paid roles (content, community, player support) as PLYAZ grows.
- Flexible commitment:
Just a few hours per month to make a real impact.
This isn’t “just” a volunteer gig. It is a chance to shape the future of player support for girls’ and women’s footballers who have lived the reality of release, injury, or transition, and still believe in the game.
If you’ve walked that path and want to help others keep their football journey alive, we’d love to hear from you. Apply or reach out to the founders to start the conversa
