Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-established independent school in Plymouth on an ASAP basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher who enjoys working in a calm, academic environment with small class sizes, motivated pupils, and strong support from leadership.

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on specialism
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Supporting practical Science lessons with a strong focus on safety and subject knowledge
• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
• Playing a positive role in the wider life of the school

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in a Science-related subject
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
• A professional, organised, and collaborative approach
