Head of — Student Success & Pastoral Leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead a year group, ensuring every child fulfills their potential and maintaining a positive ethos that sets high standards for behaviour, welfare, attendance, personal development and achievement.
• Build and sustain effective working relationships, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
• Lead the pastoral manager (assistant head of year) and the team of tutors, ensuring students receive full support to access their learning.
• Promote safeguarding and child protection, ensuring all staff and volunteers share this commitment.
