Overview
- Location: St Mary’s Priory CE Infant and Nursery School, 8 Market Road, Plympton, Plymouth, PL7 1QW
- Role: Nursery Nurse
- Contract Term: Fixed Term until 31 August 2027
- Salary: Grade SC3, SCP 8-11 actual per year £3,235 (FTE £27,709)
- Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11:30–12:30
- Closing Date: 9:00am on Monday 29 June 2026
- Interview Date: Wednesday 8 July 2026
- Start Date: September 2026
- Support high-quality learning and care for children in Reception and Nursery classes.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages children to explore, play, and develop.
- Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years staff to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Support children’s individual developmental needs through a warm and responsive approach.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, supporting the wider school community.
Our school is situated in Plympton, Plymouth and we share a leadership team across our two sites of St Mary’s Priory CE Infant and Nursery School and St Mary’s Priory Junior School (formerly Old Priory Junior School).
