The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role involves:
Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Covering teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time by confidently leading whole‑class learning across the school.
- Working closely with teachers and the SEND team to deliver high‑quality learning experiences.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- HLTA status or strong experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
- Experience supporting children with SEND, including pupils with EHCPs.
- Confidence in leading whole‑class learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible, proactive and positive approach.
