Actual Salary Range: £23,469 - £25,480 Pro Rata

Maternity Cover until August 2027, term time only (39 weeks per year)

About the Role

This is a fixed term post until August 2027 to cover maternity leave. The role supports the Creative Industries department by preparing materials, maintaining specialist equipment, ordering supplies and assisting teachers and students in creative and technical tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up creative learning resources for Art, Photography, Design & Technology, Drama, Food Technology and Music.
  • Maintain specialist equipment and ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Order consumables and manage supplies for each subject.
  • Assist teachers and students with technical and creative tasks during lessons.
Qualifications & experience
  • Proactive and organised, with at least one year experience in a creative or technical discipline such as Art, Design & Technology, Food Technology, Photography or Music.
  • Strong practical knowledge of specialist equipment and health‑and‑safety procedures.
  • Ability to support staff and students in creative learning environments.
  • Passion for the Creative Industries and a desire to support their growth within education.
