The Opportunity

Transform family dynamics and support early development. This paid "Recruit to Train" role blends hands‑on NHS clinical practice with a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in CYP IAPT Therapy. You will be trained in the renowned Incredible Years® Parenting Programme, equipping you to deliver evidence‑based interventions to parents, carers, and families managing conduct and behavioural challenges in young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Parent Training:
    Lead evidence‑based Incredible Years group sessions and individual home coaching for parents of children aged 3–10.
  • Manage Group Dynamics:
    Facilitate video‑vignette discussions, collaborative goal setting, and skills role‑plays to build parenting confidence.
  • Track Outcomes:
    Utilize Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) to monitor the impact of interventions on family and child wellbeing.
  • Study:
    Attend university lectures, workshops, and model‑specific supervision 2 days per week to secure your PG Diploma.
What We Are Looking For
  • Education:

    A UK bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2) or an equivalent professional qualification in health, education, or social care.
  • Experience:

    Prior experience working directly with young children, vulnerable families, or in a community/early help setting.
  • Core

    Skills:

    Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead groups, manage challenging group dynamics, and offer non‑judgmental support.
  • Knowledge: A solid foundation in child development and a commitment to collaborative, family‑centred care.
