Milk Education are proud to be partnering with a SEND School in Teesside, supporting learners of all ages, who are looking to appoint a Graduate Learning Support Assistant on either a full‑time or part‑time basis.

In this role, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and moderate learning difficulties. The school caters for students from early years through to post‑16, offering a diverse and rewarding working environment.

You will play a key part in helping pupils access their education, develop life skills and build confidence in a safe, inclusive setting.

This opportunity is particularly well‑suited to graduates considering careers in education, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, counselling, social work or youth support services.

• Delivering one‑to‑one and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Assisting teachers in adapting lessons to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well‑being
• Supporting communication, sensory and social development
• Promoting independence and life skills development
• Providing personal care support where necessary
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and multidisciplinary teams

Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is advantageous, but not essential — attitude, resilience and a genuine passion for SEND are key.

• A degree in the last 3 years (2:2 classification or above)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
