SEND Teaching Assistant

Premier Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the Tarporley area who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school are particularly keen to hear from TAs with SEND experience
, although they will consider anyone with strong school-based experience who is confident supporting children in the classroom.

• Supporting pupils across the primary age range
• Working alongside the class teacher to support learning
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting with behaviour and pastoral needs where appropriate

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
• SEND experience is highly desirable
• Confident supporting children with a range of needs
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable and committed
• Two suitable references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
