Highway Inspector

Highway Inspector needed in Plymouth, £15.56ph
PAYE - Reference: OR21947

Responsible for inspecting works carried out on the public highway, ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Highways Act 1980, and associated codes of practice.

• Undertake inspections, monitoring and supervision of highway works ensuring statutory compliance
• Undertake ad-hoc inspections/site visits as directed by the Network Manager
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of inspection findings.
• Report unsafe or non-permitted works and initiate enforcement action where necessary
• Respond to complaints and service requests within agreed time frames

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
