About the Company

A leading facilities management and engineering services provider delivering complex building services solutions across the UK. The organisation works on high-profile infrastructure and healthcare developments, supporting clients with end-to-end project delivery across design, installation and lifecycle management. With a strong emphasis on governance, quality and professional development, they are recognised for delivering technically complex projects to the highest standards.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP), you will take full commercial responsibility for a major MEP installation package on a large-scale healthcare development in the South West. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day commercial activities on site, ensuring the project is delivered efficiently, profitably and in line with contractual and governance requirements. You will manage applications, variations, subcontractor accounts and forecasting, whilst leading CVR processes and providing commercial support to operational teams.

The role also involves building strong relationships with clients and the wider supply chain, mitigating risk and supporting the development of junior commercial staff.

Experience Required

Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with a minimum of five years’ experience in an MEP Quantity Surveying or Senior QS role on high-value, complex projects.

Strong contract administration expertise, including managing subcontractor accounts, securing and negotiating variations, and handling loss and expense claims.

Proven experience in commercial reporting, CVR processes, cash flow forecasting and budget control within large-scale construction projects.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

Full UK driving licence and strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office; RICS accreditation or progress towards chartership is desirable
