Engineering Project Assistant

Position Summary

Engineering Programme Management Support – Plymouth (United Kingdom). 12-month fixed-term contract running from August
2026 to August
2027. Full-time onsite.

• Track and report programme metrics relating to resource, cost, and schedule.
• Input and maintain project data within the Engineering Control Tower.
• Set up and support monthly Engineering Project Reviews.
• Support bid and proposal activities, including administration of Bid Master.
  
  Web (BMW) tools.
• Generate and maintain simple project plans.
• Produce materials and support Finance Project Reviews.
• Coordinate project meetings and take minutes.
• Provide hands‑on support to development programmes, including potential lab‑based activities.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project support, engineering, or operations environment.
• Minimum ONC/HNC qualification (or equivalent) with an engineering‑related focus.
• Ability to generate, maintain, and track project plans.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience supporting bids and proposals.
• Previous experience working within an engineering environment.
