We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Engineering Programme Management team onsite in Plymouth for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fully onsite role providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers across a range of engineering and development programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project coordination, reporting, planning, and programme delivery within a fast-paced engineering environment.
What You Will DoTo work within the Engineering Programme Management team providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers.
Responsibilities Include- Tracking and reporting programme metrics relating to resource, cost, and schedule
- Inputting and maintaining project data within Engineering Control Tower
- Setting up and supporting monthly Engineering Project Reviews
- Supporting bid and proposal activities, including administration of Bid Master.
Web (BMW) tools - Generating and maintaining simple project plans
- Producing materials and supporting Finance Project Reviews
- Coordinating project meetings and taking minutes
- Providing hands‑on support to development programmes, including potential lab‑based activities
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project support, engineering, or operations environment
- Minimum ONC/HNC qualification (or equivalent) with an engineering-related focus
- Ability to generate, maintain, and track project plans
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Experience supporting bids and proposals
- Previous experience working within an engineering environment
