Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Civil Engineer. Youll be responsible for refurbishments/renovation, new developments and listed building compliance.

• Provide advice on construction-related matters across projects.
• Contribute to multiple stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
• Produce and coordinate drawing packages and technical specifications.
• Liaise with key client stakeholders and the wider design team.
• Interface with statutory authorities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Arrange site and ground investigations, undertake condition surveys, and interpret findings to produce reports and remediation strategies.
• Deliver alterations to existing structures, including listed buildings, design small-scale new structures, and contribute to temporary works and support design.

• Relevant civil engineering experience within highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, or oil and gas).
• Proven track record of delivering projects across RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and/or similar BIM-enabled software, with experience delivering to BIM Level 2 standards.
• Proficient in the interpretation and production of engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Your knowledge of the commercial and industrial sector environment
• Your experience working in nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil and gas etc.
