ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

Based in Grangemouth our graduates work in a variety of different roles designed to give a diverse set of early experiences. Each role supports different aspects of asset operation (including SHE, production, reliability and energy use/variable cost improvements) to deliver the short through long term asset strategy. You will be embedded within a technical team with experienced chemical engineers and given responsibilities from Day 1 designed to facilitate development and growth of technical ability, personal impact and business awareness through to IChemE Chartership.

You will immediately develop key skills and experiences required for a successful career in your discipline.

ABOUT YOU We are seeking the top Chemical Engineering graduates who have the following skills and qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2:1 master’s degree in chemical engineering (completed by Autumn 2027)
  • Ambition and personal motivation
  • The ability to work under pressure, with confidence
  • A drive for action, initiative and delivery, a ‘can do’ attitude
  • A valid UK driving licence or currently working towards achieving this
  • Placement or Industry experience is advantageous

APPLICATION PROCESS

Assessment Centre

A limited number of successful applicants will be invited to our in-person assessment day containing a group exercise, followed by two interviews: one behavioural and one technical. You will then break for lunch and if you were successful in passing the morning sessions you will deliver a short presentation to our Operations Director.

Provisional Offer

If you are selected as a successful candidate you will receive a provisional offer which will be subject to a medical assessment and reference checks.

Once all pre-employment checks are complete you will join us to start your INEOS career.
