I’m supporting a fast‑growing engineering business in the Plymouth area with a Mechanical Design Engineer hire. They design and build specialist industrial equipment used across high‑performance sectors including marine, aerospace and energy. You’ll work across a broad mix of projects, moving between concept development, detailed design work and hands‑on involvement in build, testing and commissioning. Some days you’ll be deep in Inventor, Rhino or AutoCAD; others you’ll be on the shop floor solving problems, supporting equipment trials or helping refine a process. Their international blue‑chip client base also means engineers get opportunities to travel across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia to support projects and see equipment operating in real‑world environments.
