Club Supervisor
to help deliver an outstanding experience for our players and team.
This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of the club, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves customer service, and enjoys motivating others.
The RoleAs Club Supervisor, you’ll be the face of City Padel Plymouth — ensuring the club runs smoothly day-to-day, our players feel welcomed, and our team is supported to deliver the highest standards.
Applicants with Padel experience would be preferred but this is not essential
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Communication
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with current and prospective players
- Welcome all players in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries, providing accurate information about the club, padel, and services
- Relay relevant information and feedback to the Directors
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the club (bins, toilets, communal areas)
- Train, supervise, and support
Club Assistants
, ensuring role expectations are clear and up to date - Promote teamwork and motivate staff, proactively suggesting ideas to improve the club experience
- Organise weekly staff rotas for reception and café operations
Bookings, Scheduling & Promotion
- Manage facility scheduling, court bookings, matches, and rentals
- Actively promote spare spaces on courses and courts via Whats App and Instagram
- Release courts back to the public when appropriate
- Ensure booking systems are accurate and up to date
Applicants with barista training would be preferred but not essential
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked café and retail area
- Prepare and monitor toasties and baked goods
- Ensure the coffee machine is serviced and maintained
- Keep pricing and offerings updated and communicated clearly
