Project Manager, Event Management & Planning

We are recruiting for an MICE Project Manager to handle international conferences, events and incentives coming from international companies travelling to the UK. This will be a varied and busy role and will include all communications and meetings with the international client, creating and designing the tours, negotiating rates with suppliers such as venues, hotels, transport, entertainment, meals etc. You will operate the event and often attend the event which will be in the UK or Ireland.

Fluency in English is essential and knowledge of working with the USA market useful. This is a small specialist company and they work as a team. Highly professional and have many of their clients for years. You will attend FAM trips to develop your product knowledge, occasionally attend events, take client on site inspections and attend international trade shows. Office based in Clapham when not travelling, the company provide a lovely atmosphere and hoping to continue and develop their teams skills and progression.

The team work 4 days a week in the office, one day from home once probation period passed. Please note, we are not looking for event venue experience we require candidates to have worked for an inbound tour operator or UK DMC and strong UK product and destination knowledge.
