Tax Manager

A successful and growing accountancy practice based in Plymouth is searching for a Tax Manager to join their team as a key addition as right hand support to the firms directors. You will oversee the delivery of a quality personal tax focused compliance service to wide ranging individuals and clients, alongside working on advisory projects and helping develop this firms tax service offering.

Based in Plymouth the firm acts for wide ranging individuals and directors across sole trade, partnerships and their wider limited company clients providing a quality personal tax compliance service and advisory work. The firm environment offers the chance to join a growing, smaller independent firm as key support to the firms directors.

Joining as Tax Manager based from the firms Plymouth offices you will manage the delivery of personal tax compliance and wider tax planning for a wide-ranging client base. You will be hands on preparing tax returns for individuals overseeing the management and delivery of work to a varied client portfolio. You will also work on wider tax planning work and carve an influential, key support role as the firms go to tax expert.

For this Personal Tax Manager role you might hold a qualification across ATT, AAT or other tax / accounting qualifications, or you may have developed your career thought experience alone. You will have developed a focused tax career within an accountancy practice firm background. You will be seeking a role where you can develop a quality tax compliance service whilst also delivering wider advisory services, building client relationships and helping develop this firms tax service offering.
