We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join Princess Yachts. Reporting to the Financial Controller – Operations, this role will partner closely with senior operational leaders across our multiple sites in Plymouth, providing clear financial insight, constructive challenge, and support to drive informed decision‑making.
You will play a key role in analysing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping deliver both financial and operational targets. As an integral member of the site leadership team, you will combine strong analytical capability with commercial awareness and a proactive, hands‑on approach to business partnering.
Key Responsibilities- Financial business partnering to Operations across a number of sites, ensuring understanding and ownership of all aspects of the P&L
- Working collaboratively on budgets, forecasts and manufacturing plans, monitoring performance through detailed variance analysis
- Supporting the preparation of month‑end and management accounts
- Contributing to the ongoing development of financial plans that deliver savings and improved value for money
- Using modern reporting tools, including Power BI, to produce insightful analysis, dashboards and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Proactively identifying and driving process improvements
- Delivering project work as required
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or Qualified by Experience
- Essential experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Power BI, with the ability to create dashboards and visual reporting
- Proactive and self‑motivated, with the ability to influence stakeholders within and outside of Finance
- Strong team player, able to lead and support cross‑functional teams as required
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior operational managers
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Confident, enthusiastic and resilient
Efficient, organised approach with the ability to deliver to deadlines - High standard of IT literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
