Finance Manager

Our client, a leading organisation in their sector is currently seeking a part-time Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is for approximately 24 hours per week with flexibility in how those hours are scheduled.

As the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial heartbeat of the group, combining sharp control with the flexibility to drive strategic and operational priorities, all while embedding strong governance and compliance across the organisation.

• Take the reins of the Group’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Deliver high-quality management and statutory reporting, including KPIs, and steer smooth external audits.
• Direct cash flow, banking, and liquidity management to maintain financial strength and stability.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, turning data into actionable insights that drive decisions.
• Champion the development and optimisation of finance systems, payroll, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with Trustees and stakeholders through clear, insightful financial guidance.
• Provide strategic and operational financial leadership to fuel sustainable growth and deliver value for money.

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior-level experience.
• Proven track record in robust financial reporting and managing annual audits.
• Strong technical knowledge across compliance, governance, treasury, and modern finance systems.
• Commercially minded, analytical, and solutions-focused.
• Confident, organised communicator and team player who can engage non-financial stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
