A leading accountancy practice in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Corporate Senior Tax Manager to take a senior role within its corporate tax team, leading complex client work and supporting the strategic development of the firm’s corporate tax offering.

This is a high-level opportunity for a technically strong corporate tax specialist who enjoys working on complex compliance and advisory matters, managing senior client relationships and mentoring managers and junior team members. As Corporate Senior Tax Manager, you’ll lead on the delivery of corporate tax services across a varied and complex client portfolio.

• Managing and reviewing complex corporation tax compliance
• Leading corporate tax advisory projects, including restructuring, planning and transactions
• Acting as a senior point of contact for key corporate clients
• Supporting Partners on high-value and technically challenging engagements
• Providing technical oversight and mentoring to Managers and junior team members
• Ensuring work is delivered to a high professional and technical standard
• Contributing to the development and growth of the corporate tax service line
• Supporting business development and long-term client relationships

This role offers a strong blend of technical leadership, advisory work and senior client management.

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
• Have significant experience in corporate tax within a UK accountancy practice
• Be confident managing complex compliance and advisory work
• Possess strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
• Enjoy leading client relationships and mentoring others
• Be commercially aware and comfortable operating at senior level
• Be motivated to contribute to the growth of a corporate tax team
