Finance Manager Plymouth, Devon £40,000 - £50,000 per annum Our client, a successful and rapidly growing business, is seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This Finance Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take ownership of a broad, hands-on finance function while working closely with senior leadership.

As the Finance Manager, you'll provide meaningful financial insight, oversee day-to-day financial operations, and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and the continued growth of the organisation. The responsibilities:
Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and financial systems Produce monthly management accounts and commercial performance reports Manage cash flow, banking activities, and supplier payment processes Oversee VAT compliance, financial controls, and statutory reporting Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decisions Monitor profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial performance Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning Drive continuous improvements across finance processes and reporting The candidate:
Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance position within an SME environment Strong management accounting, cash flow, and financial reporting experience Confident user of Xero and Microsoft Excel Commercially minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working autonomously while partnering with senior stakeholders This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you can make a genuine impact while enjoying broad commercial exposure and real autonomy.
