Job Description & How to Apply Below
If you're studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA (or planning to), and you're looking for a business that will invest in your development, we'd love to hear from you. The Opportunity This is far more than a transactional finance role. You'll become an integral part of the finance team, supporting the production of management accounts while partnering with operational stakeholders across the business.
You'll gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit preparation and commercial reporting, giving you the experience needed to progress your finance career.
Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing meaningful analysis to support business decisions. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any variances. Process accruals, prepayments and journals. Assist with the financial set-up of new sites. Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Calculate client revenue share payments. Raise self-bill invoices and process client payments.
Partner with Management Accountants and operational teams to resolve revenue-related queries. Assist with the preparation of half-year and year-end audit files. Support continuous improvements to financial processes and reporting. About You We're looking for someone who is ambitious, curious and genuinely wants to build a long-term career in finance. You'll ideally have:
Previous experience within a finance or accounts role. A desire to progress into Management Accounts. Strong Excel and general systems skills, with the ability to quickly learn new software. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and continually improve processes.
A positive, team-focused approach and a genuine enthusiasm to learn. Why Apply? Excellent opportunity to develop your Management Accounting experience. Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance. Clear career progression within a supportive finance team. Work closely with experienced accountants and senior finance leaders. Diverse, hands-on role with genuine responsibility from day one. Join a business that values development, initiative and internal progression.
If you're looking for a role where you can broaden your accounting experience, develop commercially and build a successful career in finance, we'd love to hear from you.
