Credit & Billings Assistant

Your new company An established and forward-thinking organisation, my client is seeking a customer-focused individual with strong numerical, administration and IT skills to join them in the role of Credit & Billings Assistant at their head office in Colchester. This role is being offered on an initial 1-year contract. Your new role Working as part of a professional and supportive team, this role is a mix of billing, finance administration and credit control duties:
Prepare and send accurate invoices Billings database maintenance Reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies Liaise with customers regarding outstanding debts via phone, email and letter Customer billing query investigation and resolution Documentation review and updates Ensure billing and credit control processes comply with financial controls and audit requirements Maintain accurate audit trails and documentation to support internal and external audits Work collaboratively with finance and non-finance team across the business to ensure accurate billings What you'll need to succeed My client is flexible on the successful candidates background however key will be strong numerical and IT skills combined with strong customer care experience.

Experience of working in a credit, billings or finance admin role would be beneficial but not essential - full training can be provided.
