Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant Plymouth, Devon Competitive Salary Our client, a large and successful organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Finance Assistant, you'll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of costs, ensuring expenditure is accurately recorded while supporting budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting. Working closely with the Department Managers and wider finance team, you'll gain valuable commercial exposure across a varied finance function.

Manage a portfolio of costs and balance sheet accounts Process invoices accurately and within agreed deadlines Prepare accruals, prepayments and month-end journals Monitor expenditure against budgets and investigate variances Complete regular account reconciliations Support fixed asset and depreciation accounting Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Support month-end, year-end and wider finance activities The candidate:
