The Paraplanner will support financial advisers in delivering high‑quality, compliant financial advice to clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing client information, preparing suitability reports and recommendation documents, and assisting with financial planning and investment research. The role involves producing accurate documentation, maintaining up‑to‑date records, and ensuring all advice aligns with regulatory and internal standards. The Paraplanner will collaborate closely with advisers and administrative team members to contribute to efficient client service and a consistent client experience.
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Plymouth.
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Finance skills, with an understanding of pensions, investments, and protection solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret client data, market information, and product details to support advice.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Investments, including risk profiling, asset allocation, and portfolio construction principles.
- Candidates should possess clear and accurate Report Writing skills, with attention to detail and strong written communication abilities.
- Relevant qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Planning (e.g., Level
4) or progress toward professional certifications are beneficial. - Familiarity with financial planning software, CRM systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA rules) is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple cases, and a collaborative working style within an advice team are beneficial.
