Environmental Protection Officer

Sharper is working with our local authority client in the South West. They need an experienced Officer to join their Environmental Protection teamandtake ownership of a live statutory nuisance and noise caseload. Minimal hand-holding, maximum autonomy. What you'll be doing:
Managing your own statutory nuisance caseload Noise investigation, monitoring and acoustics assessment Evidence gathering and case preparation for enforcement action Proportionate, confident regulatory decision-making What you'll need:
Strong local authority EP background Practical, hands-on EPA 1990 experience A CIEH-accredited qualification (preferred) The confidence to work independently from day one What you'll get: 6 months, up to 37 hrs/week 3 days/week on site Mileage reimbursed Rate:
Inside IR35 £ 42-£50 per hour- depending on experience Starting ASAP
