Support Worker

Stanley House, Plymouth

Full time and part time positions available

£25,350 per annum for working 37.5 hours

Our Plymouth Parent's Accommodation and Support Service (PPAS) is an exciting and vital project providing support and independent living skills to parents (aged 16+) and their children, who live in our supported accommodation.

Responsibilities

We are looking for confident, caring and trustworthy support workers to work at the project on a rota basis between the hours of 8am to 9pm. We have a range of hours available and are able to offer part time and full time hours for the right exceptional applicants.

As a support worker, you will be helping parents develop independent living and parenting skills. This role will involve working evening shifts and some weekends until 9pm on a rota basis.

Westward is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be required to work closely in reporting any Safeguarding concerns raised and attend multi-Agency meetings with other professionals involved.
