As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Lead UX Designer to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth or London Great Portland Street Office.

About the Role

As a Lead UX Designer, you’ll shape the digital experience across The Range, wilko and Homebase, using research, data and experimentation to deliver customer-focused, commercially driven designs. You’ll lead the evolution of a multi-brand design system and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive UX excellence at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Continuously enhance the online shopping experience for wilko, Homebase and the wider digital estate.
  • Instrumental in shaping a multi-brand design system, implementing standards and raising the maturity level of UX across the group
  • Use data, research, testing and experimentation to uncover pain points and validate solutions that drive commercial performance
  • Deliver refined production-ready UI, prototypes and UX artefacts
  • Collaborate with product, creative and trading teams to deliver strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with UX research, CRO and developers to drive UX enhancements through experimentation
  • Improve the craft and working practices in collaboration with other designers
Person Specification
  • 5+ years’ UX/Product Design experience.
  • Strong end-to-end UX skills, from research to production-ready design.
  • Experience with design systems and UX best practices.
  • Multi-brand and native app experience desirable.
