Private Client Solicitor - South West (Hybrid)

A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their established and supportive team, known for its high-quality work and long-standing client relationships.

The team comprises experienced lawyers and professional support staff who collectively offer a full spectrum of private client services. Partners are Legal 500 recommended, with specialist expertise across areas including elderly care, tax, trusts, and succession planning. Team members also hold respected memberships such as STEP, SFE, ATT and CTA.

You will be joining a warm, collaborative and down-to-earth group where you'll be encouraged to develop your own client base while contributing to a strong existing practice. There is a clear commitment to maintaining both technical excellence and a personal, compassionate approach with clients.

You will manage your own caseload appropriate to your experience, working on matters including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Administration of estates and probates
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and inheritance tax planning
• Trust administration

There will also be opportunities to get involved in client development and wider team initiatives.

You’ll have experience in private client work and a strong interest in supporting individuals and families through sensitive and often complex matters.

The firm is looking for someone who:

• Has c.5+ years’ experience in private client work (or equivalent)
• Can demonstrate strong technical skills and a solid understanding of relevant tax and trust issues
• Is comfortable advising on all core areas of wills, estates, LPAs and trusts
• Is personable, empathetic, and committed to high standards of client care
• Is interested in contributing to the team’s ongoing success and growing their own profile
