Commercial Property Solicitor – 2+ PQE – Plymouth
Location: Plymouth
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 (DOE)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a forward thinking and expanding commercial property team. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially aware and keen to develop their career within a modern, innovative environment.
The RoleYou will manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
- Commercial property transactions
- Finance and securitisation matters
- Complex property and mortgage work
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods or leave
- Business development and networking activities
You will work closely with colleagues in the department, contributing to the continued growth of the commercial property offering.
Candidate Requirements- Minimum 2 years' PQE in commercial property
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business clients' needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of integrity, motivation and energy
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility when required
- Strong research, drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- IT literacy and experience with case management systems
- Proven success in business development and generating new work
- Willingness to attend events and engage with clients outside standard hours when needed
- Experience acting for commercial lenders on security work
- Experience working under LEXCEL or similar quality standards
- Innovative mindset and willingness to contribute new ideas
- Conducting commercial property matters, including security related work
- Assisting colleagues with fee earning during busy periods
- Supervising support staff where required
- Participating in firmwide and departmental business development initiatives
