Paralegal – Personal Injury

A well-established law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Personal Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to support experienced fee earners handling a varied caseload of claimant matters.

The team deals with a broad range of personal injury claims, including employer’s liability, public liability and road traffic accident cases.

Working closely with solicitors and legal executives, responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of personal injury files
• Undertaking legal research and preparing case documentation
• Drafting key legal documents, including witness statements, schedules of loss and disclosure lists
• Supporting client and expert meetings, including preparing attendance notes
• Liaising with clients, medical professionals and other third parties
• Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A professional and empathetic approach when working with clients, particularly those who may have sustained serious or life-changing injuries
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team

Previous legal experience is required, ideally within personal injury, although applications from law graduates with relevant exposure will also be considered.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday to Friday (no weekend working)
