Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Buyer to join their Supply Chain team during an exciting period of change . This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a busy manufacturing environment , working with suppliers and internal teams to maintain material availability and keep operations running smoothly . The role is offered on a fixed-term basis , with the potential to become permanent!

Buyer 9 Month Fixed Term Contract with an opportunity to go Permanent Salary is dependent on experience Monday– Thursday 8:45am-4:45pm & Friday 8:45am-16:30pm (Hybrid Working) Kingsbury, London Buyer

Job Description Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timely fulfilment and alignment with business requirements. Create and monitor transfer orders between subcontract warehouses, resolving discrepancies and ensuring stock movements are processed accurately. Proactively liaise with suppliers and internal teams to expedite deliveries, resolve shortages and maintain material availability. Maintain accurate purchasing records, order trackers and supporting documentation.

Buyer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Must have experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operationally complex environment . Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Syspro, SAP, Epicor etc. Someone who is proactive and dependable, can take ownership of tasks and following issues through to resolution.
