As a Project Manager, you'll lead and deliver a suite of infrastructure upgrade projects across one of the UK's most critical naval sites. Day-to-day, you'll:
- Lead and coordinate multiple infrastructure upgrade projects across the Devonport site
- Manage projects through all lifecycle stages, ensuring scope, schedule and quality standards are met
- Update and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Oversee project finances, including budgets, forecasts and cost control measures
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Experience of the Project Manager
- Significant experience in project management and delivering infrastructure projects
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage and produce outputs independently
- Advanced knowledge of APM principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven experience in commercial management, including budgeting and cost control
- Degree in engineering, construction, or project-related discipline
- Appropriate APM qualification
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard for 6 months initially with the option to work on a hybrid basis thereafter. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
