The RoleWe're seeking an inspirational Director of Estates & Facilities Management to drive the strategic development, performance and sustainability of our multi-site estate.
As a key member of the College's leadership team, you'll lead the next phase of estate transformation, ensuring our campuses provide safe, innovative and exceptional environments that enable students and staff to thrive.
What You'll Do- Shape and deliver our Estates Strategy
- Lead capital projects and campus development programmes
- Drive operational excellence across estates, facilities, maintenance, cleaning and security services
- Champion sustainability and support our Net Zero ambitions
- Ensure compliance, safety and value for money across the estate
- Develop and inspire high-performing teams
You'll bring significant senior leadership experience in estates, facilities management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering strategic change, managing complex operations and leading major projects.
You’ll be a collaborative, forward-thinking leader who can turn vision into action and create environments that support outstanding learning and student experience.
What Will You Bring ToThe Role
- Strategic Thinking:
Translate strategic estate plans into operational delivery programmes, ensuring priorities are achievable within available resources. - Collaborating:
Oversee the operational management of all estate and facilities services including maintenance, cleaning, security, and site services. - Delivering:
Ensure buildings and infrastructure are well maintained, compliant and fit for purpose. - Interpreting Quantitative Data:
Manage estates and facilities budgets effectively, ensuring value for money and financial control.
Interviews are currently planned to be held on the 16th & 17th of September 2026.
